About

Nelliza Cuneapen

I’m a fashion designer based in London and a 2026 graduate of London Metropolitan University.

My work starts with Formula 1 — not just the cars, but everything around them: race suits and team branding, paddock culture, and the way drivers like Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc treat the grid as a runway. I’m interested in how identity gets expressed at speed, and what that looks like translated into cloth.

The translation is physical. I dip real tyres in fabric paint and roll them across fabric so the garment records actual motion. I draw in Procreate, cut stencils by hand, expose my own screens and pull prints colour by colour, then fix them under the heat press. Where the race needs words, I embroider them.

My graduate collection, Driven by Instinct, is a personal Grand Prix: six looks, six starting positions, all moving toward one finish line. It reflects my own route into fashion — persistence, instinct, and turning inspiration into design.

I’m currently open to design roles, collaborations and commissions.
